This Standard specifies requirements for arc-welded steel pipes and fittings with butt-welded seams, having diameters equal to or greater than 114 mm outside diameter intended for the conveyance of water and wastewater at rated pressures up to 6.8 MPa, and for use as piles.Methods of demonstrating compliance with this Standard are given in Appendix A.NOTE: Purchasing guidelines are given in Appendix B.
