States procedures for determining the standard thermal output of heating appliances powered by water or steam at temperatures under 120 degrees C, supplied by a remote heat source. Gives the laboratory arrangements and methods of testing, admissible tolerances, criteria for selection of samples for testing and for verification of the conformity of the current production with samples tested at the initial test. Not applicable to independent heating appliances.
