Für ortsbewegliche Gasflaschen sind Verfahren festgelegt, die beim Anschluss von Flaschenventilen an den Flaschenkörper zu beachten sind. Beschrieben sind alle Ventil- und Flaschenverbindungen, die mit Schraubgewinde verbunden sind. Weiters sind das Vorgehen bei der Prüfung und die Vorbereitung vor dem Anschluss bei kegeligen sowie zylindrischen Schraubgewinden beschrieben. In einem informativen Anhang sind die zulässigen Drehmomente zum Einschrauben in den Flaschenhals in Abhängigkeit von der Flaschenbauart und von der Ventilgewindedimension angegeben. Nicht enthalten sind Festlegungen für Atemgeräte, Tauchgeräte und Feuerlöscher.
