Festgelegt sind Anforderungen an erdverlegte Rohrleitungssysteme, die für die Lagerung und den Transport von flüssigen Kraftstoffen und ihren Dämpfen an Tankstellen verwendet werden. Enthalten sind weiters Mindestleistungsanforderungen, Hinweise auf die Gebrauchstauglichkeit sowie auf allgemeine Sicherheitsaspekte und den Umweltschutz. Folgende Arten von Rohrleitungssystemen werden behandelt: Förderleitungen von Tanks zu Zapfsäulen in Druck-, Saug- oder Siphon- Betriebsarten, Füllleitungen von Strassentankfahrzeugen zu Tanks, Gasrückführ- und Entlüftungsleitungen, Rohrleitungen für Schutzrohre, Rohrverbinder, Formstücke und Muffen. Ausgenommen sind Rohrleitungen für flüssiges Erdgas. In diese ÖNORM EN wurde die A1:2006 eingearbeitet, wobei Änderungen zum Vorwort und zu den Abschnitten 2, 5.2, 7.1.3 und 7.2.8.1 durchgeführt wurden.
