Bibliography
Specifies requirements for acceptance inspection of electron beam welding machines preferably when first installed at the user's premises. This standard can be referred to (either in full or in part) in contracts for supply of electron beam welding machines. Further tests are normally not needed if proof of satisfactory welding results are provided in the form of routine inspection documentation. However, if required by contract the requirements of the standard can be used also for inspection as part of maintenance.
