Specifies standards for new fire apparatus designed to provide elevated fire fighting and rescue capability. It consists of a vehicle equipped with a power operated, self-supporting aerial device, together with associated equipment. Requirements are given for optional components or systems which provide pumping capability, a water tank, electric power generation, or foam proportioning.
