Le présent document traite: - du dépistage du radon dans un bâtiment. Il consiste à évaluer l'activité volumique moyenne annuelle du radon dans des conditions représentatives des conditions d'occupation du bâtiment; - des mesures complémentaires de radon qui visent à identifier les sources et les voies de transfert du radon dans le bâtiment. Elles sont recommandées, après la phase de dépistage, dans le cas où les valeurs des niveaux en radon rencontrées dans le bâtiment sont supérieures aux valeurs d'intérêt.
