Le présent document s'applique aux câbles isolés au polyéthylène réticulé, à champ radial, à gradient fixé et de tensions assignées comprises entre 6/10 (12) kV et 18/30 (36) kV, destinés à fonctionner dans les réseaux de distribution publique ou privée. Deux versions sont définies: - l'une souterraine, destinée à être posée en pleine terre; - l'autre aérienne, munie d'un porteur, destinée à être installée sur les réseaux tendus entre supports ou sans porteur pour une pose à l'air libre. Le présent document donne les conditions auxquelles doivent satisfaire les câbles pour donner toute garantie de sécurité et de durée lorsqu'ils sont utilisés conformément aux dispositions de l'arrêté interministériel du 17 mai 2001 pour les réseaux publics ou de la norme NF C 13-200 pour les réseaux privés.
