Specifies three procedures for estimating the average grain size of copper and copper alloys consisting principally of a single phase. Deals with the comparison procedure (most convenient and sufficiently accurate for most commercial purposes), the intercept (Heyn) procedure and the plainmetric procedure (the last two procedures give higher degrees of accuracy in estimating grain size).
