This Standard specifies the steel sheet and strip coated by the hot-dip process in a bath of molten metal containing about 5 % aluminium in mass fraction (contains magnesium, rare earth elements and the like of trace quantity) and the remainder zinc. The term "sheet" includes not only sheets in flat form but also corrugated sheets of which the shapes and dimensions are specified in JIS G 3316.
