Specifies dimensions for rectangular and square welded, sized steel hollow sections and is to be used in conjunction with DIN 2395 Part 2 which states the relevant technical delivery conditions. This standard does not refer to cold formed hollow sections used for structural purposes which are covered by DIN EN 10219 Parts 1 and 2 (both at present at the stage of draft).
