This standard is included in DIN Handbook 356 and 13-6. Applies to step irons with raised edges for staggered steps designed to be fitted into masonry or concrete manholes giving access to sewerage systems. See DIN 1211 Parts 1 to 3, DIN 1212 Parts 2 and 3 and DIN 19555 for other types of step irons.
