Lays down criteria for recovery eyes/lugs fitted to tracked and wheeled tactical land vehicles, armoured fighting vehicles, plant equipment, towed plant and trailers to enable them to be recovered safely. It rationalizes on the sizes of recovery lugs/eyes to be fitted and specifies minimum articulated angles required to enable safe recovery practices to be employed. The contents of this publication will also ensure that UK MOD procured equipment complies with NATO interoperability requirements.
