Gives mechanical and structural safety requirements for domestic tables not including height adjustment mechanisms and castors. Is not applicable to tables meant specifically for use by children or to occasional tables, outdoor tables or changing tables. Durability requirements for castors, height adjustment mechanisms, or for ageing and degradation are not included in this.
