A.2 Network Layer IPRL
Applicable to end systems concerned with operating in the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) environment. It specifies a combination of OSI standards, which collectively provide the connection-mode Transport Service using the connection-mode Network Service. Specifies the subnetwork-type dependent requirements for (1) the Network Layer concerning packet switched signalling and data transfer using virtual calls; (2) the data Link Layer concerning data transfer.
