Defines an atomic absorption spectrometric method for determining the manganese content of rubbers. Applies to raw rubber and to rubber products with manganese contents over 0,5 ppm. Contents under this limit may be determined if suitable adjustments are made to the mass of the test portion and/or the concentrations of the solutions used.
