Stainless steel hypodermic needles 26 gauge (0.018 in, 0.45 mm) to 17 gauge (0.056 in, 1.40 mm), with Luer conical socket (6 per cent taper); method of size designation. Regular points with a bevel of 12 degrees, short points with a bevel of 18 degrees, intradermal points with a bevel of 30 degrees.
