Describes coaxial and balanced twin cables for the transmission of radio-frequency power, and specifies requirements and tests for types of cable for service, professional and domestic use. The standard is divided into three parts. Part 1 specifies general requirements and test methods for the radio-frequency cables. Part 2 details the special type approval and sampling procedures and Part 3 consists of data sheets, setting out the electrical and mechanical requirements for each type of cable, with engineering information.
