Recommends methods for the analysis of high purity zinc complying with grade Znl of BS 3436, and of zinc alloys for die casting complying with BS 1004 by spectrometer. The elements which may be determined are copper, cadmium, iron, lead, tin, thallium, indium, aluminium and magnesium. Includes preparation of standard alloys.
