1.1This practice covers the necessary information to qualify dispersive infrared instruments for specific analytical applications, and especially for methods developed by ASTM International.
1.2This practice is not to be used as a rigorous test of performance of instrumentation.
1.3The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
