This Interim Standard specifies detailed requirements and practices for the isolation of telecommunications services provided over paired cables and involved in remote metering, remote interrogation and demand management, and the like of LV and HV power systems, on poles and in buildings.NOTE: Services provided by other technologies involving a copper conductor are to be considered by the Committee and might be included after the planned review of this Interim Standard.This Interim Standard specifies pole-mounted arrangements for timber poles and additional arrangements for conductive poles.
