This Standard specifies requirements for hot-rolled silicon-aluminium fully killed carbon-manganese steel plates to a maximum thickness of 150 mm for use in the construction of boilers and pressure vessels.NOTE: Guidelines to purchasers on requirements that should be specified by the purchaser and those that should be agreed to at the time of enquiry or order, or both, are given in Appendix A.
