Specifies the requirements relating to the design and construction of workboxes generally having one working level, to accommodate a maximum of three persons. It does not cover the design and construction of workboxes intended for more than three persons. It includes sections on design, construction, inspection and testing. Appendices include typical workbox details, a list of Standards for components used in lifting systems and a typical certificate of workbox inspection and test. It is intended for use with AS2550.1, which specifies their safe use.
