This Standard defines technical safety requirements and measures for mobile or movable jacks and associated lifting equipments. It deals in all significant hazards pertinent to mobile or movable jacks and associated lifting equipment when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer. This specifies the appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce risks arising from the significant hazards.
