Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Phasenkoppler in einem System zur Signalübertragung auf elektrischen Niederspannungsnetzen, deren Spannung zwischen Phase und Neutralleiter 250 V nicht überschreitet und deren Nennstrom 125 A nicht überschreitet und die für die Verwendung im Haushalt und vergleichbaren ortsfesten Installationen in Wohnbereichen, in Geschäfts- und Gewerbebereichen sowie in Kleinbetrieben bestimmt sind. Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Phasenkoppler, die zur Kopplung von Übertragungssignalen zwischen Phasen oder Segmenten des Netz-Übertragungssystems vorgesehen sind.
