Diese Norm legt Verbindungsstutzen zum Anschluss der Wasserfeuerlöschanlage eines Schiffes an einen Wasseranschluss im Hafen (Werft, Dock und dergleichen) fest. Diese Verbindungsstutzen entsprechen dem Internationalen Übereinkommen zum Schutz des menschlichen Lebens auf See (SOLAS 1974).
