Where no specific application standards apply the minimum standard to follow is the recommended specification from the relevant manufacturer specific to the product or type or substrate. This Standard does not apply to the long-term protection of iron or steel exposed directly to the atmosphere or to internal climates likely to have aggressive environments. These subjects are dealt with in AS/NZS 2312 (series).
