SAC Standards

About the Standardization Administration of China

The Standardization Administration of China (SAC) was set up by the Chinese State Council to streamline management, supervision and overall coordination of standardisation work in China.

The SAC approves, delivers and publishes national Standards plans. The body also produces and releases standardisation policies, administrative rules and industry programs. It is responsible for informing the public about national Standards, and represents China within international Standards organisations, including the ISO and IEC.
